	Mintera Adds Chief Financial Officer - Expands Executive Team Industry veteran brings wealth of financial expertise Acton, Mass., April 29, 2008 – Mintera® Corporation, the high bit-rate optical transport systems solution leader, today announced that John Anselmi has joined the company as Chief Financial Officer. Previously with Platinum Equity, Anselmi has 25 years of experience in senior finance roles, primarily in the technology industry. “I am extremely pleased to welcome such a dynamic talent to our team,” said Mintera president and CEO Terry Unter. “John’s career success and financial acumen will be a valuable asset to Mintera as we continue to execute on our growth strategy shipping today’s 40 Gbps products and positioning the company for continued success as we introduce 100 Gbps solutions in the near future.” Most recently, Anselmi was a senior consultant for Platinum Equity, a private equity firm based in Beverly Hills. At Platinum Equity, Anselmi’s primary focus was transitioning acquired companies into Platinum’s portfolio. He also provided hands-on financial expertise to the portfolio companies, assuming interim executive financial positions within the new acquisitions. Before joining Platinum, Anselmi served as Chief Financial Officer of Vanguard Managed Solutions, a provider of enterprise networking equipment and managed network solutions. During his five year tenure, Anselmi was a member of Vanguard’s operating committee and was instrumental in the Company realizing a ten-fold return on shareholder investment. Prior to Vanguard, Anselmi held numerous senior finance positions, including positions with Motorola and Ernst & Young. He is experienced in high growth businesses and has led the financial aspects of successful divestitures to strategic and financial investors. “Mintera is experiencing rapid expansion, precipitated by the commercialization of the industry’s first 40 Gbps DWDM DPSK transponder product,” said Anselmi. “I look forward to putting my experience to work immediately during this exciting time for the Company.” A Certified Public Accountant, Anselmi earned a Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration and Accounting from the State University of New York at Buffalo.
