Telecommunications Magazine's
"10 Coolest Companies"

Lowell, MA - June 1, 2005 - Mintera Corporation, a global performance leader enabling migration of optical transport to 40 Gigabits per second (Gbps) in metro, regional, long-haul and ultra long-haul optical networks is pleased to announce that it has been selected as one of Telecommunications Magazine's "10 Coolest Companies" and will be honored at a breakfast event at the SUPERCOMM 2005 conference. The selected companies will also be highlighted in the June issue of Telecommunications magazine.

The award recognizes Mintera for the focus of its technical expertise on the creation of practical business solutions for service providers. The award also coincides with Mintera's successful Series B round of financing.
