Agile Networks are No Problem for Mintera's MI 40000XS
ROADM architectures have recently become the solution of choice for deployments of metro and long haul DWDM transport networks. The advantages that ROADM architectures offer include: simplified network operations through rapid reconfiguration and lowered upfront capital expenditures through optical bypass. ROADM-based networks are facing demands that require a 40G solution which does not necessitate any re-engineering.

Mintera's patent pending modulation format is filter tolerant and robust with respect to PMD. These properties, coupled with adaptive dispersion compensation (ADC), provide an ideal solution on ROADM based networks. Traffic is seamlessly rerouted when the ROADMs are reconfigured since the ADC automatically adapts to any change in dispersion.
